The T8834 FTA is a configurable version of the T8433. This also connects to I/O cables TC-601, 603,

701 or 703. It also contains a zener diode for the channel power and a precision resistor for the current

to voltage conversion, but it may be wired in several different ways.

For field powered (active) devices, sourcing current to the channel, where the channel current does not

go below 4mA:
