5–19Configuring Your Reader

• Separator (Character). Allows you to change the separator

character from a comma to a new value.

Code 128

• Status

• Fixed Code Length. Allows you to increase data integrity by

ensuring that only one label length will be accepted.

• Code Length. Allows you to specify the exact number of

characters that the reader will recognize. The reader will ignore

any code not having the specified length.

Note: Fixed Code Length must be enabled for Code Length to

take effect.
