Working with projects 1–7
Renaming a component
Renaming a component changes the physical file name. If you change
the name of a file that is referenced by another project, the
component (file reference) will be greyed out in the other project. To
update the file reference, select the component in the Project
Manager, click Rename, and then type the new file name.
To rename a component:
1. Select the component in the right pane of the Project Manager.
2. Right–click and then click Rename.
3. In the To field, type the new name.
