DESCRIPTION

The Trusted

Toolset Suite T8082B is a software package supplied on CD

Rom and includes the following:

• The System Configuration Manager

• The I/O Connection Editor

• The Trusted

I/O Module Drivers

• The ISaGRAF Workstation Enhancements

• Installation and Operating Instructions (Readme File and a copy of

the associated Product Instruction PD-8082B)

The information available in the Product Description contained on the CD

provides the user with details of the System Configuration Manager, the I/O

Connection Editor and a brief description of the ISaGRAF Workstation

enhancements.

The System Configuration Manager is used to create the System.INI file.

This is a text file used to configure the operational parameters within a

controller. The System Configuration Manager provides a graphical

representation of the Trusted

system, and allows the specification of

module operation through parameters and generic templates.

The I/O Connection Editor is used to establish a logical link between the I/O

variables of the application program and the physical channels of the boards

existing on the target machine. The operating parameters of the I/O modules

which may be used with a Trusted

System, as defined in Complex I/O

definitions for the I/O Connection Editor, are defined in the appropriate I/O

module or interface/bridge module PD.

The Trusted

I/O Module drivers define the operating parameters which

may be used when configuring these module in a Trusted

System.

The Trusted

Toolset Suite includes the ISaGRAF Workstation within the

installation, and adds some enhancements for operation with Trusted

Systems:

 Sequence of Event (SOE) configuration for real I/O and for internal

variables

 Application Compilation for the Trusted

System

 Tooltips, variable comments, I/O forcing and logic debugging aids

 Specification of Modbus methods for variable transfer

 ICS communications protocol to the Trusted

Communications

Interface module

 Intelligent Online Update allowing safe modification to a running system
