Chapter 2 Configuring FactoryTalk Security with Logix Designer application

• Click the Advanced tab if the Security tab does not appear in the

Controller Properties dialog box.

In the Security box, select FactoryTalk Security.

6. Click OK. If prompted to confirm whether to confirm the controller

settings, click Yes.

Important:

When you select a security authority for a project, you can only access the

project and any controller that contains it when you have been granted

access in FactoryTalk Security.

7. Save the project file.
