Updating the Firmware

The card supports firmware and FPGA upgrade across the ControlLogix

backplane using the Rockwell ControlFlash utility.

Install the ControlFlash software from the 56AMXN distribution CD and

run it as you would to update any other ControlLogix module. Refer to

the ControlFlash documentation and help for detailed information on

how to use ControlFlash.

A 56AMXN/A can be upgraded to 56AMXN/B functionality by simply

upgrading the firmware. No hardware changes are required.
