Programming the RediPANEL Modules

The example in this section interfaces a RediPANEL module with an SLC

5/02 controller. An alarm, connected to an output module, signals when

communications with the RediPANEL are lost. The system consists of:

• SLC 5/02 Processor (Catalog No. 1747-L524) in slot 0

• Remote I/O Scanner (Catalog No. 1747-SN) in slot 1

• Output Module (Catalog No. 1746-OB8) in slot 2

• An alarm connected to the output module

• Bulletin 2705 RediPANEL Module

The 1747-SN Scanner can address four racks (0-3). 32 input words and 32

output words may be addressed in
