2–4 Installing the Module

Swing the chassis locking bar down into place to secure

the modules. Make sure the locking pins engage.

Snap the chassis latch over

the top of the module to secure it.

3. Connect the 1771-NC cable to the module as shown in Figure 2.1.

A. Slide the locking bar up.

B. Insert the cable connector into the mating connector on the

front of the module.

C. Slide the locking bar down over the mating pins on the

module to lock the connector onto the module.

1. Position locking bar in up position.

2. Insert connector into mating connector.

3. Slide locking bar down to lock.
