Wire the Linking Device

Wire your linking device by using these instructions.

Wire Requirements

The FOUNDATION Fieldbus recommendation for the cable connecting

fieldbus devices is 0.8 mm

(18 AWG) shielded, twisted-pair wire. It is

important to calculate how the planned topology for your fieldbus segment,

selected wiring, supplied power, and intended mix of fieldbus devices may

impact the overall performance of a fieldbus network.
